Diversität indigener Strategien gegenüber Formen des römischen Imperialismus.
"Akkulturationsprozesse", insbesondere die sogenannte "Romanisierung" bzw. "Hellenisierung", Aspekte der kulturellen "Globalisierung", "Hybridisierung" und "Creolisierung".
Methodologische Probleme: Ethnizität, Ethnogenese und Identität(en) in Gallien, Italien und im Römischen Reich.
Transformation und Evolution der Religionen in Britannien und Gallien von der späten Eisenzeit bis zum 4. Jh. n. Chr. anhand des archäologischen, ikonographischen und epigraphischen Befundes.
